What kind of bird is this? He was hanging on my neighbors bird feeder. I've never seen one like this around here (Long Island, NY)

Cool, thanks. I'd say they are very social. I took the shot from about 20-25' and then walked up within 5' before she flew away. She hangs out there a few hours each day.
