So I just got both of these this week and for some reason when I make the image sharp on the view finder then do it manually on the lens, the image does not come out the same. whats the problem?

I don't get the post.

Did you mean the image looks fine in the "viewfinder" but not sharp when downloaded to the computer?

Can you post an example?

in the viewfinder it looks good, but when i take the picture, it appears completely different on the lcd, blurry. now when i change the dioptric lower so it looks blurry in the view finder, it looks clear in the lcd when the image is shot

Put a white sheet of paper in front of the lens and adjust the diopter until the focus point squares are sharp. If I understand your meaning, this should solve your problem.

The AF points are independent of the diopter. You can have a blurry viewfinder as long as the lens focus, the pic will sharp.

Make sure you have enough light, point the lens at a large object with good contrast, the camera box is a good one 1/2 press the shutter to get AF going and confirm with a beep and take a shot. If it still blurry then something is wrong with the lens or camera. Try it with another lens if you have one see if it does the same.

I believe the OP said s/he was MFing the lense - so the view through the viewfinder would certainly affect the focus...

Its still blurry in the viewfinder, autofocus works, but its like I won't be able to Manual focus. The article perfectly describes my situation, what should I do
