First off, I'm not sure which forum I'm supposed post in regarding the S2 IS (fwiw).

Last night, I shot a few images with the S2's black and white feature turned on. I selected the highest ISO setting (ISO 400) to give the images a more grainy "film" look. In the second shot, you can see where the Image Stabalizer really kicks in during low light shooting.

Those are bery nice shots, Sean. Especially the second - conciderring it's a night shot and you mentioned the stabilizer, what's the shutter setting you used?

In my world - G6 rules and the film days are over...

Nice shots Sean. Did you use any noise reduction? If not, then 400 on the S2 looks very good for a point and shoot. How do you like the camera so far? I am thinking of replacing my trusty G3 with a long zoom cam and I have been thinking about the Panansonic FZ5 and the S2. I had an FZ20 for a while and I regret selling it -- it was a fantastic camera which is why the FZ5 is on my short list. But I am a Canon fan and the samples I've seen from the S2 look very nice. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the camera. What are your high points as well as your gripes?

Todd
