Jon, do you have a gallery link from your vacation? I've got some time and would like to look.

Ah. Evergreen. I've got to hit the PNW Aviation Museum circuit sometime. And speaking of PIT shots . . .

I just realized I can't quote ALL my favorites so include the birds...never seen a frigate bird before and the baby sea lions, the crabs & the marine and land iguanas were cool too...if you can't tell, I'm writing these down as I see them. LOL The water is such a beautiful color too. Wow.

this dude is just freaky lookin

I was amazed at how close you got to the sea lions. Ours are much less tolerant of people.

I want to be here:

Greg, I'm not on my desktop so I can't give a good opinion...my laptop monitor isn't a good judge of that sort of thing.

Ok, thanks Permie.

I've been going back and looking for images that had potential but overlooked. Have a day off work today, woke with a major headache. You know when you get a cramp in your shoulder blades that won't go away for days and ends up as a headache.

Thanks! I've still got at least another thousand shots to go through, so come back later. Total was around 2300. Mostly 7D/100-400 and 5D2/24-70 with a few 5D/15-30, A630 and SX1. That Red-footed Booby was the 100-400 demonstrating how soft it is :{)# Seriously, that lens was just waiting for the 7D to come along.
