Now that sounds like fun! My wife has Fridays off so she will probably take the kids some during the summer and I'm sure we'll head over on weekends.

I can't wait! I actually have next Friday off all together because of some traveling I'm doing earlier in the week! :D

In2Photos wrote in post #10289293 (external link)
It's pouring down here too! We've had about 6 inches since Friday! Monday was the hardest I have ever seen it rain!

I was just there for that rain! Ok I was in Concord so not too far from you. I've seen heavier rain there though... one Sunday last summer it rained SOOOOOOOOO hard!!!!! I ran over to Concord Mills.... it was was raining so hard that water was literally SHOOTING out of the down spouts into the parking lot which had a couple of inches of water streaming through it! It was all kinds of crazy heavy that day! I think there was actually flooding in Uptown that day as well!!

And it is VERY hard to believe that Colby is 19 months old! Doesn't seem like all that long ago you were sharing the news of his born day to POTN!!!! WOW!!!!!

We got even more rain tonight! I drove by a local Par 3 golf course on my way home from dinner. There were ducks swimming ON the COURSE!!! Not in a pond on the course, ON the course!

I know, it's crazy!

That happens in Chicago quite often, usually after any rain of 1/2 or so. Chicago is so flat that the water just has no where to go. I've had ducks in my front yard before. :)
