When it is sunny, always take a dip into the pool to cool off:

Yes, it will.

The LR3 install went w/o a hitch. Thanks guys! I see that it kept the presets too! :D I do notice that it's speedy as hell. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

I didn't know sarcasm had a color. :p Anyways, the lens correction is pretty nifty. :)

Yes, that lens correction stuff is good. Is there any way to add that to a group of photos, or does it have to be done, individually to each shot?

Definitely will be good with my crappy kit lens. Now I am half tempted to bring back some old photos into LR again to play with them!

For some reason nifty there made me think "Nifty .50" and I now want to make a joke thread based on "Where's Nifty" but instead of a Nifty Fifty it'd be a Nifty .50.

Hrm... On second thought, that'd probably get me in trouble.

You can add it to your defaults very easily.

Just the base processing algorithm is a quantum leap....I've been playing with some older RAWS....what an amazing difference in the results I can get with LR 2.7 and 3.0

I decided to try it out on just the pics from our trip first rather than converting 20,000 images from my LR2. After going through these I think I will have to rework some older images!

No question on reworking some older stuff....things that I thought were good.....now have the potential to be great....it is a very dramatic difference.

That is one part up upgrades that I hate :D

Although I have next to nothing of old photos compared to 99.9999% of people on these threads...

I feel for you all!
