That my sir is pretty impressive! I like it. Could be sold to the local tourism organizations.

Eos M, 5DII, and some lenses.

Thank you

Paloika, is that a special program that creates that ball, that you then put in the frame as a composite
Very nice.. cool !!

Bianchi, no special program needed. Its a 110mm crystall ball that I bought from Amazon. The image in the crystal ball is actually upside down, then I just turn the image right side up by selecting only the ball or turn the whole pic right side up in PP.

dochollidayda, Thank you very much!!

I just realized I posted these pics on the wrong thread...I meant to post them on the sunset thread...sorry.

Thanks paloika, the one with no hand, you must of had it resting on something to cut it out round perfectly without a hand holding it.

The crystal ball was sitting on that log, like the last pic, I just brought the camera down and low and take the shot probably around 2ft from it and fired 5 bracketed shots so that I can do HDR. In PP I selected the ball only and I turned it right side up.

Here's another look when the sun is still above the horizon. The ball is located on a different spot on the log, however. Same technique as far as rotating the ball in PP.

I was thinking the sun was going to rise under the pier and from the ocean. Nope. It rose behind us from the Beaufort direction. Turned out OK, and it was the only day in the week where there was a visible sunrise, so getting up at 5am wasn't all that bad of an idea.

Here are a couple of nice sunsets we watched as we traveled from Perth to Kalgoorlie staying overnight in Merredin.
