I never remember this forum til someone else posts!

From the other morning, we typically get inversions here from Oct-Mar:

The sun is to the right of Mt. Hood, so it gets side lit. The better ones involve high clouds that will reflect back warm light onto the fog layer giving it more depth, not this time though...
