Hurricane Lane sure produced a lot of nice sunrises for us during our Hawaiian cruise around the islands... 5DsR + 16-35L2 + Lee 105mm CPL and 0.9 SE GND Filters (stacked)... ISO 200, f/5.6 @ 1/125sec...

I haven't been disciplined enough to be awake for a lot of sunrises this year, and ironically the one I did wake up for was the earliest sunrise of winter: I silly-ly decided a good sunrise would be the one right before daylight saving time started

I was alone on the mountain until well after the sun had risen... incidentally, I had to get up early the next day to catch a flight, so I saw my second sunrise of the year there; on the third sunrise, I was on the flight, so I got to see a third sunrise. Since then? Haven't caught a single one
