John I saw at least one there from Lake Lanier. My uncle lives down in Lawrenceville so we have been out on the bass boat fishing Lanier quite a few times. Nice place.

Oh yeah.. Lanier is a beautiful lake, but this whole area is a difficult place to shoot sunrises and sunsets. There are spots, but many of them are private marinas you can't get into, and the lake is shaped in such a way that getting a decent expanse of water in the right direction for either sunrise or sunset can be a challenge. The hilly topography doesn't help either. I have quite a few good ones over the past couple of years though.. they're just a challenge to find!

Yea after exploring so much of the lake in the boat I can definitely understand that.

As of right now this is my best, shot in the florida keys a few years ago. Heading back next week with better gear and more experience and an alarm clock so I'm sure I'll be posting more.

Great shots everyone

These are amazing! I hope to post up soon as I was out shooting early today but I am not expecting anything near this level of expertise; thanks for the landscape lesson!
