Okay, so my Aunt owns a place in Costa Rica and has offered to fly me down for 8 days the end of January and beginning of February. We will basically tour the country and possibly travel to Nicaragua for a day or two... The plan is to see the sights, and take lots and lots of photos. The best will be going on the website with the potential to be sold. I'm not sure if that qualifies as "professional" or not for the purpose of insurance, but I thought I'd include that to give you a better idea of what I may or may not need.
I have never insured any of my gear, but it seems that it might be the time, going on a trip like this with a few thousand dollars worth of gear...
Anyway, I do not own a home, I am a student that rents... I know that most people take out camera insurance under their home owners policy, so that is not an option for me.
Does anybody have any suggestions?? I've used the search, but haven't found anything all that relevant to my situation.
