Do Canon DSLRs have date codes? Before you ask, yes I searched the forum first. And yes I checked my T1i and I can't see one but I'm wondering if the pro bodies like old 1DII have them? In my old film bodies there is a date code, usually under the film canister holder when you open the back but of course that part doesn't open any more. I couldn't see a date stamp in the card or battery compartments of my Rebel but it is so small I'm not sure they could get one in there that you could read without a dentist's mirror. What about the 5D classic, the 1DII? Just wondering for cases when you can't get a shutter count if the date code is somewhere.
