I agree the fence leads the eye into the frame very nicely but the church looks to have a slight lean (top) to the left (easy fix) and it he would have just waited until the clouds cleared the steeple it would have really made the cross stand out against that deep blue sky.

Before I head off into the wilderness again, I'll post a portion of an old abandoned church here in the area. It's has been condemned and is basically falling down. I see another photo of this church here in this thread that's backlit and just think it's great. Must have been up for sunrise for that one. Mine is a little dark and Gothic looking.

I kind of liked the fluffy cloud , just not where it was positioned behind the steeple.
Still looks good though.

Yes , I was up at sunrise for that shot. I really like the gothic look of your picture. It really shows how bad of shape the church really is in. Thanks for posting.
