plm v2 is expected out in march. i am still patient about this product as i know it will be a very big game changer.

I, too, will wait for a second version (if there is one) so that I can buy the first version for cheaper. :)

I don't know how much better the second version can be, if there is one in the works. Isn't the smaller shafts for Euro monolight users?

All of Alienbees PLM (86, 64 size) are on back order. Does anyone know when they will be available? Trying to get one to go with my new AB800.

Nope....for Elinchrom lights specifically (I don't know of another company using the 7mm shaft)

I know Paul had problems getting the manufacturer to send the next set of umbrellas (the V1.1 version w/ the tighter diffusion cover and shorter shaft)...

Customer service told me that they expect to receive the 64/86 inch PLM product in 4-6 weeks. I have had mine on order since Dec 8th.
