What photo related stuff did you ask for the holidays?

I haven't sat on Santa's lap yet, so I haven't asked for anything.

But all I want is a prime.

Nothing really since I bought my 24-70L just over a week ago and my lighting gear is coming next week. Would have asked for some new cards but I bought some a month ago so I don't need to ask for any.

Is that a sign that I need to find something to buy?

Getting a 7D

Whatever else is just an awesome bonus.

I give my wife a small list of gadgets and such that I know I'd like, but haven't got around to buying for myself. This years list included:

XRite Color Checker Passport
Manfrotto Variable Friction Magic Arm
Manfrotto Justin Clamp
A few photography books I've had my eye on.

I asked for two Domke bags and I bought myself a 7D and a Tamron 17-50 lens.

A 2'x3' softbox.

Domke F-3X. And postman's pad to go with it.

My parents keep asking me what photography thing I want but I doubt they'll fly for the 70-200 2.8L IS. So I just asked for a portable terabyte hard drive.

What you could have done is said, "Well I'd really love the 300 f2.8L I.S., but I could get by with the 70-200 f2.8L I.S."

All I want is for my kids to arrive safely for the Holidays and we can all take a family portrait around the tree.

Asked for and received a Pelican 1650 + Dividers + Lid Organizer.

my wife ordered me the following:

Speedlite 430EX II
Umbrella Adapter with Hot Shoe Mount
Spyder3Pro (to calibrate the monitors)
2-PLUS II Wireless Transceivers

Anything I would want is too expensive for xmas gifts.. although 2yrs ago my wife helped me fund the purchase of my XTi.

Over the last month or so I've already bought myself a bunch of stuff:

BG-E2
box of used lighting equipment/backdrop stand
Manfrotto monopod (dunno how much I'm gonna use it, but it was on sale)
Sigma 30mm f/1.4
and a new lens pen

So I'm good for a whlle until I figure out if i want to buy a Tamron 17-50VC or Canon 17-55IS, upgrade to 70-200 f/4L IS, and upgrade the XTI to newer xxD body. But I don't feel those items are too important right now.
