The show was among the best I have EVER seen, Becky if it comes to Chicago you have GOT to take Aidan! It is really *that* good. They go on tour beginning in January I think, as the show here is closing.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Should be easy to remember the name. ;)

I'm actually spending some time tonight processing pictures in my "Needs to be processed" collection in LR. Thought I would share a few as they get done.

Nice sharing tonight, Ick. Very cool on the mountain sheep. I like the Canyon Wren.

More fluorescence, and a bit of a surprise:

Very cool, Mike.

I just emptied out my inbox/outbox (mainly because it was backed up to nearly 1k...even emptying it and saving the smwyg stuff has me at nearly 200) and I accidentally erased the frostypaws recipe and Becky's cookie recipe. If any of you will have pity on me and re-direct me, I would appreciate it.

Frosty Paws

4 cups vanilla yogurt
1 mashed banana
2T peanut butter
2T honey

Mix it all together and put in Dixie cups, not sure the volume, but the ones she uses are about 1 1/2-2" high. And freeze.

Chocolate Filled Cookies

1 8oz pkg Cream Cheese
2 sticks Butter
2 cups Flour

Warm cream cheese and butter to room temperature. Mix all 3 together into a dough and refrigerate overnight.

Next day:

Melt together (I use a double boiler) then let cool:

1 12oz pkg Chocolate Chips (semi-sweet)
1 can Condensed Milk
1/2 C Chopped Walnuts

Divide dough into fourths. Roll out each quarter in confectionary sugar. Put 1/4 of the Chocolate mix into the middle and fold into a loaf. Place on a cookie sheet folds down. Repeat with remaining dough and filling.

Bake 20 -30 minutes @ 350 until golden brown. Let cool and slice each loaf into 1/2 inch slices. WARNING: These have been known to have a street value, the chocolate filling is almost like fudge in a most delicious dough.

SECOND WARNING: watch the dogs, it is this cookie that Bear devoured 2 loaves while they cooled and we had to induce vomiting due to the high chocolate content. He survived though did not like the induction part

At only 1/4 mile, you should do 8 loops, 7 days a week for Bax (and you).

Truth

I wouldn't go in until they cleared out that beached whale.

I kept the dogs at heel, and just shooed them away myself.

Nice knight in shining armor move.:D

We found a small space of uncrowdedness, it was nice. Note the barricades for NYE

quick lunch cause we wound up leaving way early as there had been a closure in Times Square because of an abandoned van..

Heard about the van on the noon news, I was going to ask if you saw it,

I think you're referring to Eugene Delacroix' "La Liberte Guidant Le Peuple" It's not Joan D'Arc but a part of the French mythos, "Marianne".

Good stuff there, Dan
