Nice shot of your brother, Mike. He looks happy. :D

Sid, how do the straps work?

Becky N wrote in post #9294234 (external link)
Sid it is good to see that your brother is getting along so well. The invacare poles are a marvelous thing. Nice modifications to keep limber.

Nice shot Sid.
You are good Kit.
Night Sarge.

Thanks all.

Cat.... I'll try to get a photo of him with his hands in the straps. He does not have the ability to bend his hands inwards... towards his wrist as if doing a curl. He can bend them outwards. He can't extend his arms normally, but after a couple years of therapy, he became proficient in getting them extended. He does have a limited ability to curl his arms inwards. So. He hooks his hands in the loops and can partially lift himself up. By moving from strap to strap, he can pull himself towards the wheel chair.

I don't have an exif reader. Can one of you check the size of the photo I posted of him and tell me if it's too large for potn?

(I just typed that from my LAPTOP!)

I tried system restore. No good.
Tried to boot from disc, no good.
Tried again.
and Again.

finally, it said that it was unable to fix it, and one of my options was command prompt.

I undid the command I did.

Windows started (YAY!)

But firefox STILL wouldn't work.

SO I uninstalled it, and then downloaded it again.

Works!

WOOT!

YAY!!!!!!!! *jumping up and down, twirling in circles, clapping like Zane*!!!!

cat have you considered google chrome? (external link) It might give you less trouble than firefox? It's faster. It doesn't have all the addons that firefox has but it's fast. I downloaded it and opanda iexif and I'm good to go.

and great job on fixing your laptop

and you missed my funny quote earlier! (I figured you might be the only one to know where it came from)

Well,

3Turner wrote in post #9294302 (external link)
Cool...thanks for the reminder and link....I've been meaning to try Chrome and see what it's all about.....wow...it is quick :D

What the heck!??? It doesn't go very fast for me!!! FF works better. I feel so left out of fastness.:(

I think you're referring to Eugene Delacroix' "La Liberte Guidant Le Peuple" It's not Joan D'Arc but a part of the French mythos, "Marianne".

This:

is a cut from this:

which is a spoof of the aforementioned Delacroix work, found HERE (external link)

She is a 4 month old English Pointer. Her name is Sierra.

Got her from one of the shelters here today. Hadn't worked with them before... they are really awesome. It's a kill shelter, but they are willing to work with us, and I can see a lot of dogs coming to us from this shelter in the future.

Good job on getting another shelter to work with you.

I just emptied out my inbox/outbox (mainly because it was backed up to nearly 1k...even emptying it and saving the smwyg stuff has me at nearly 200) and I accidentally erased the frostypaws recipe and Becky's cookie recipe. If any of you will have pity on me and re-direct me, I would appreciate it.

It is also in your email now.

And the only reason I was on my laptop, is because my stupid freaking desktop is still sick, and won't upload stuff to youtube or photobucket and a few other places.

I was trying to upload video of Trudy to YouTube.

Then all THIS crap started.

*sigh*

I suck.

YOU DO NOT

I really liked that movie.

Well deserved. Maybe you ought to go into computer repairs. ;)

I have heard it was good, though I have really never had any problems with FF. One of my favourite aps with FF is Xmarks, as it allows me to sync my bookmarks on both my computers, and access them all from any other computer, including my phone. Does Chrome do this too?

Chrome does import all of you favorites from FF into Chrome. I'm not sure about the app though.

Don't worry about throwing peoples computers. They will be happy to pay you to do what they are afraid to do.

Facebook is neat for several reasons.
One of them being, that I just friended the person who adopted Bonnie.
I will get to hear stories of her and see photos posted of her.

I like that. :)

While he was here, he voiced concern over Bonnie and cats. He said that his friend was concerned that Bonnie wouldn't be ok with their cats.

So, I got the treats, and got Bonnie, Jeffrey, and Vader all together. Sharing treats.

He actually started laughing, and called his friend.. "Hey.. I'm sitting here watching a pit bull share treats with 2 cats. You have nothing to be worried about!"

I didn't take a photo, but he did.
