I woke up to about 4 inches of snow, it is still coming down. Wasn't supposed to start till this evening. It is very icy stuff and there are already a lot of accidents, hopefully it will get better as the day goes on and we go tubing!

Something about the way my right hip, knee, and ankle are built won't let me point my right foot straight forward for any length of time. When I walk or run, that foot points outward, and straightening it forward brings my knee inside of my foot. Not very good support for skiing.:(

That does not sound good, Mike. You can ski vicariously through Didier or me then. :p
It does not seem like there are very many who ski on this thread. Could be that most are not near ski resorts though.

Tubing sounds like a blast. I wish we would get a decent amount of fresh snow.

(tired of dog videos yet? LOL)

Luna, Amikah, and Levi have some rock issues. One of them will bring in a rock to play with, and then it becomes the 'coveted' rock, and everyone wants it. It has caused issues, so we don't let them bring rocks in anymore.
Luna was trying to hide this one. LOL.
They both knew they weren't allowed to have it, but they both wanted it SO bad. LOL!

I tried skiing one time when I was considerably younger than now. I walked like a Neanderthal for a week afterward. I'm not sure what the appeal is. You spend half the day on your butt, cold and wet, then can't walk for the next few days. Besides, you can't (or shouldn't) wear shorts and Tommy Bahama shirts while doing it. Snowmobiling is much more to my taste. Now THAT'S fun.

And Neil, Harley is one of the most photogenic pooches I've ever seen. (taking nothing away from all the other TPBM pups)

Today is the day Chief to make some New Years resolutions. You could start with a little dog and by the end of the year you could have 12.

I was determined not to get another dog until after I retired, circumstances worked against that and I can't say I am not glad that they did :-)

'cause I wanna be.
I have had a bum knee issue in the past, but got it operated on, and have always worked hard to keep my legs in shape, thought the rest has suffered some.
Sledding is fun, but it is very expensive and noisy, and it is tough to enjoy the scenery when blasting on one. I used to do tons of it many, many years ago and really don't miss it. Most guys who do sled, do so because they are too out of shape to ski.
