Maybe you should ask Cat about Luna (external link)?

She is pretty but UT is a long drive to get Eli a girl friend. ;)

No Cats. NO NO NO NO.

I wish we could have a cat at home as well as a dog. Unfortunately my wife can't handle cats at all because of allergies.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Alyssa and the rest of the Solie family enjoy a hypo-allergenic cat. I'm sure she could share all the breed details. Shasta has fur.

Hello everybody. It's such a beautiful bright sunny day out today. Sparkling blue sky, fresh fallen snow, too bad if you venture out you have about 8 seconds to live cause you'll freeze just like in that movie, The Day After Tomorrow.

Yeah. Great. I have a shoot at 4 outside.

Snowshoes are fun....not much occasion for them here in NC, but I used to go frequently when I was still in NY. Great for getting out to see wildlife that most folks never see.

Tevin's nickname is ChumbaWumba. We've called him Chumba for years.

Um... both. thanks.

Both were virtually sent to you, didja get 'em? And lol, dare I ask on the nickname?

The thing is it is set in the 1600s. Bathing was not big then and, for me, it makes me cringe a little at the naughty bits.

Yeah, that makes it significatly less appealing. I prefer a good hot shower now and again (read: daily).

those look so good D. Can I have some of the brownies and raspberry chocolate cake?

D - is it possible to get the rhubarb muffins with out nuts? I am thinking of getting some for my Dad, but he is allergic to all nuts.

Yep, you can have the raspberry choco cake, that's one thing I'm not a fan of, just cuz raspberry stuff always tastes like cough syrup to me. Email Sandi about the rhubarb muffins, I bet she'd gladly do a batch without, but I can't speak for her.

Ok, so we are at our adoption event today, and with everyone within hearing distance, Tevin says to me:

"Gosh Mom! What were you and dad doing last night in your bedroom? I couldn't even sleep you were being so loud. It was midnight!"

Some of the evil "no dogs in bed" folk(you know who you are Neil and Jim) are probably doing this ---->

I am guilty of being and evil person, but Jasper does have 4 cozy beds in various locations throughout the house. And, I get to sleep in mine. ;)

it's me and i have a question.
when you go to bed do you take the dog(s) with you to bed?
our bed is big but its getting smaller and i can't figure out why.
what to do? add on and get more fosters or just buy 10,000,
000,000 acres some where. what should we do?

By the mega-acreage. You will have some good volunteer help to set up whatever is needed for the dogs. :D

Hi Didier....nice shots.
I think I asked on FB, and not sure if you replied, but why do folks not ski when it is flat and open like that, much faster and easier then shoes. I do use shoes around camp, or in tight bush, otherwise if it is straight travel, I much prefer the speed and ease of skis.

Ok so the Vet said that Eli needs a friend. I am pondering it but don't know if I should get a puppy or a dog a year or so old. She also said get a girl dog. If I do that I'll have to get one of the fixed ones though

You can fix 'em after getting them too. ;)
How old is Eli now?
