Greetings Everyone!

Sorry about the freeway deal, Jenn. That stinks. I had a blow out on the freeway recently - no fun whatsoever.

I saw Avatar in 3 D today. One word: WOW!

If you haven't seen it - go.

If you haven't seen a movie in 3D lately - go! The technology has come so far. It was mindblowing! I can't say enough good things about the movie and the 3D. It's visually amazing.

It so wasn't fun! It ticked me off a tad when people started blowing their horns at me! I had my hazards on and tried to stay out of the way! One idiot got pissed... blew his horn at me (for 30 sec easy) passed me... then got the bright idea to point out I had a flat... by gesturing to my front tire... Really?? YA THINK!?!? Dumba$$! Sheesh!

I'm home and warm... I'm nursing a headache from the fun of last night... so I'm just glad it's over!!!!

Jenn: GA!

Chris: Glad you enjoyed the movie, I have heard mixed reviews.

GA! is right!

gah! I hate lightroom.

I uploaded it on my windows machine and it shows blank tiles where my photos should be. I finally, after searching the help forums and nothing worked just removed it. I was only using it as a viewer on the laptop anyway...so I downloaded faststone & called it a day.

My other big project of the day was to figure out how to shorten my name. I mean, after all, everyone else goes by a shortened version of their name....but my name, being ridiculously short already was a toughie. But I solved it. :)

It does today, but ethernet only uses 4 of the 8 wires and a lot of places use to the RJ-11s

I've never seen a lan card that used RJ-11 ...

Which one was the crop? The one with the kitty on his/her back? Yeah, that one was a hard case, though. Not enough info in the picture to really get a good profile...

BTW... I bought a new mouse... A Logitec G500 It's a gaming mouse, but it's the best darned mouse I've ever, ever had! The wheel also has a nice feature where you can switch it between a clicky scroll, or a free scroll, and the wheel has enough mass that you can flick it and it will spin for a second. Nice!

I've never seen a lan card that used RJ-11 ......

I haven't seen any cards, other than the DSL cards, but I've seen lots of locations use the rj11 jacks as ethernet. Usually by taking one phone line and switching it to ethernet. UofI did that in lots of their dorms, worked in an old building that had three phone losed coming to each office. One was switched to e-net. It took a special cable to get it to work with a PC.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

You can switch the buttons, but the ergonomic features arent' there, Your thumb isn't near the side buttons and the bulky part of the mouse is on the wrong side of your hand.

Hey, that's what I was going to say. :p
My mouse is symmetrical and this would work great with it.
