Oh gosh, they had so much fun!
Suki got tired quickly (to be expected) but she did great off leash.
I cringed every time Aztec would jump a bush, since she'd just been spayed 5 days ago.
(oh yeah, we got Aztec back this morning).

The dogs got SOOO muddy. But they loved it.
It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

They didn't even give Aztec 24 hours?

That's a great shot of Jaxson, Cat. He reminds me of an African wild dog (external link) (in a sort of way)

April 2 or April 3?? Chief and I have a wonderful sister whose bithday is April 3. My wife and I share birthdays on April 1 (and that's no April fool's story).

My brother's birthday is April 3! And our grandfather was born on April 2.

If you guys could start all over right now, what camera/lenses would you buy? (within your budget that you've spent on your gear) I'm just wondering. I keep seeing that posted in different threads. I just wondered what you'd do.

I'd buy exactly what I have now, skipping all of those Promaster, Tamron and Tokina craptactular pieces of (cheap) junk I started with back in my film days,

This however is funny. Four paw drive (external link).

I've always wished I had hardwood floors instead of carpet, but that would just be too cruel to my furkids. LOL

He sent my dog a friend request on fb yesterday or the day before.

Hahahahahahaha! That was your dog? I thought it was you! I saw that suggestion on FB and... "I thought I already had Dan friended!" ... *click*

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure my way around that incredibly confusing site...

That's so funny! I was thinking that it looked like an African Wild Dog, too! Well, maybe not exactly, more of the Sub Saharan Slightly Hyperactive Mutt. Kinda the same thing, really.

Nope. For good reason though.
The first 2 days are actually a 'trial', and the adoption isn't final till after the 2 day check up. We encourage people to be completely sure that it's a good fit in that 2 days. We'd rather get them back right away.

Aztec pulled a Mikey, and attached herself to the wife, and got protective. Wouldn't let the husband anywhere near her.

It shocked me, actually. She's never shown any type of aggression, protectiveness, never growled. I was so surprised.

She actually went to a different foster home tonight, as we had to bring a new one in here.
I think we are going to move her around to differnet homes and different situations to see if we can figure her out.
She is so sweet and docile. I just can't even imagine her growling.

Tiff, those are good. The portrait shot, they'll like. Photography wise though you NAILED the kiss shot. No blown highlights, great comp, no muddy blacks. Good job.

OK. I didn't realize you had a two day trial period. I don't remember if we had one when we adopted Buddy but he came directly from the County Shelter.
