Speaking of carbs...

we went out last night for Tevin's birthday dinner. (A few days late, but it was the only night we all had off).
Anyway... he chose Golden Corral.

I was in bread heaven.

During the course of the meal, all of these statements were uttered:

Mmmm... hot buttered roll. Is there anything better than a hot buttered roll?

MmmMm.... cheesy bread. Is there anything better than hot buttery bread with garlic and cheese?

Mmmm.... Flatbread. This is great. Is there anything better than crunchy flatbread with cheese and toppings?

MmMmm... bruschetta. Is there anything better than crispy toasted garlic bread with italian tomatoes on it?

MMmMM.... scones. The only thing that could make bread better is to deep fry it and top it with sugar. Heaven. Is there anything better?

And finally... bread pudding. I don't even LIKE bread pudding, but I tried some, and it was goooooood.

Great. Now I'm craving some bread with cheese and garlic on it...

Me too. The worst part is that I have a beautiful sourdough starter going that is finally ready to use. But I'm no bread until the end of the month.

Life is too short to be in a bread time out. Too too short.

Live a little. Have some cheesy bread.

I have some Texas Toast in the freezer. I don't need the carbs, but I'm seriously considering popping it in the oven right now...
