It's been snowing here for two days. Just a real light dusting, though. Nothing like December 2008. Tuesday it was all melting as soon as it hit the ground, but yesterday there was about a quarter of an inch on the ground when I went out to walk Minnie at 10pm. It was all gone by the time I got home from work this morning, but I'll bet we get even more today! The biggest of the four storms should kick up real soon now and it's cold here and VERY foggy!

No eye lightening at all. I still use the MCP eye doctor but don't use any step but the sharp.

Umm...the first one looks a little OOF I think because of the backlighting and flare and me pulling the exposure up. It really wasn't.

Not sure why the last one looks OOF to you because I know it isn't. I binned anything that looked OOF when I zoomed in on the eyes.

They look OOF to me too....but it might be because the eyes in the others are so over sharpened.

speaking of binning photos, I'm SO tempted to go through my gallery and "clean house". I wanted to do that with lightroom too. Just because I have to search through so many bad ones.

Does anyone ever do that?

Don't say that! We have to leave for Beverly Hills in less than an hour, and then drive from there to Van Nuys and back tonight...

I'm totally diggin' my house/kid right now. He's been sitting next to me on the couch, wrapped up in this REALLY fun blanket that arrived in the mail yesterday (*wink, cough, Heather*) and reading stories to me while I catch up on email. When he finishes one, he goes and puts it away (oh, and my living room is fairly clean for ONCE!!) and gets another and comes right back....and I've been getting a hug and snuggle each time. <3

Wet landings, and some of the dry ones in Galapagos are among the reasons I use filters. Everything seems to have survived, safely stowed in my Domke while getting in and out of the panga (Zodiac to the rest of the world). But there was a certain amount of splashing while going along the coast watching birds and lizards. Yet another reason for filters. And first looks at the stuff I got, if my 100-400 is losing IQ from the filter, it'd be a lethal weapon without one.!

Good point ... I can see using one when the situation warrants it....

Just a random little post here. Since I cannot take a screen capture of my contact list, made each one a shortcut on a home page of my phone so I could show you all. I'm using the photos posted from this thread or the TPBM trip thread  All start with POTN so I can have the threadie contacts grouped together for easier searching.:D
