I too have weakened lots, and I mean lots and lots. On Sunday I will purge the house of all that is not healthy, even if I have to eat it all myself.

Oh good idea Jim! I'll give that a try too.:D

awwww {{{Dragon}}} I know how those lonelies feel. I get more emotional the closer it gets to xmas. Had a terrible bout of it today. Soooo missing my kids.:(

Thanks, Paula. I have had moments that have led to tears. My kids are pretty independent, and I have never needed (or wanted) them to be attached at the hip....but this kind of distance is wearing on me, to be honest. Nikki was in tears, wanting us home. It was hard. Ryver doesn't know me :( that sucks to a degree I cannot express. Jaiydann...my gbaby girl misses 'hers mima'............... *sucks it up*

But. We will be seeing them in a few months. June at the latest. I made that promise to me.

BearLeeAlive wrote in post #9254531 (external link)
Nice. :D
The the image of them after they get into the tequila shots is a bit more scary though. :p

I think I promised not to touch that stuff ever and never again, amen.

Permagrin wrote in post #9254532 (external link)
so are you guys on your own there then for the rest of the winter?

*hugs*

Yes and no, lol. Jim will be back and forth, I am hoping we get to go down there for a week or two and G's friends have adopted us

Still not the same as home, but trying not to be a whiney baby about it, lol.

Yeah, I'm going to try and get back to Oregon in the spring/early summer too. As soon as the roads clear enough that hubby won't have heart failure with me driving alone.

That rat is scary, that's all I know.

We have a DVD of the 1977 Nutcracker with Mikhail Baryshnikov and Gelsey Kirkland that we watch each year during the Christmas season. I love the scene where Baryshnikov goes after the rats. In his prime, he was an amazing dancer.

I get a few of those too. Or, my cousins daughter who I see once, and the odd time twice, a year. And there was this young girl, probably early twenties, wearing a bikini in her profile pic, that I have never heard of in my life wanting to be my friend.

You so friended her didn't you? :p

Always hard being away from family during the holidays. My Dad lives in CO...and before that was in Germany for 4 years. Those 4 years in Germany was contact only by letter....no phone due to cost and it was before internet was available. June will come soon enough. ;)

That all depends on the economy, to be honest. I am hoping that we will be moving home, or at the very least, moving with a days drive of home :)
