I always seem to go with the 17-55 + 100L combo or the 24L-II + 50L combos. What's your favourite two lens combo for travel or walk around? Cheers.

Crop options:

1st option/ Zooms:17-55mm or 15-85mm + 70-200 F4L IS USM

2nd option/ Primes: 35mm F1.4L + 85mm F1.8

Really depends on your destination IMO ! :p

Thx! Just curious to find what everyone else reaches for on a regular basis. I don't have any particular destination in mind :)

The 17-55 would be my favorite zoom on a crop

1) EF-S10-22 + EF50f1.4 (with 1.4x TC in the bag).

2) Or, EF50f1.4 + EF100 macro (with 1.4x TC in the bag).

3) Or, EF50f1.4 + 100-400L.

And I'm going to England for Xmas, and will be taking option #1....so I'll let you know if it's the best!

10-20mm Sigma and 30mm Sigma. It's the wide-shooter's paradise (for my budget and needs, anyway)

I had zooms in the past but i'm really loving the primes this go around. I like all of mine so far. The 135L is just sick though. A bit long to be used in cramped areas indoors but outside you could walk with it all day and get killer shots with it.

With my 7D (or my 40D for that matter) my favorite 2 lenses are the Canon 18-200 and 10-22 (with the 50mm f/1.4 a close third)
