I am using a trial of cs4 and I hope this can be changed. My brush cursor shows a full circle at 15, but as I increase the size the lower right starts to disappear until it only displays a crescent in the upper left corner of the cursor. It becomes very difficult when I try to place the brush onto an image coming from the left side. I can't see where the cursor starts. In preferences, I have the painting cursor set to "full size brush tip" but no matter what it is set to, it does the same. Any ideas?

You need to update your video card's drivers. Go to the website of your video card manufacturer and get the most recent drivers update.
