Canon Picture styles

Are these just proof images?
It seems to me that you're doubling your workload, & it would be better/faster to make any changes to the RAW file & then convert to small proofs. Then you could just re-convert to the full sized images the client selects.

Without seeing side by side images, that's hard to say?

What you really want to do--although it's some work up front--is to use the Picture Style editor to create a custom Picture Style that processes the image the way you basically want it (the way you would process the raw image).

The Picture Style editor is an unsung--but extremely powerful--tool. About a month after Canon debuted Picture Styles, they posted downloadable new Picture Styles on their website. That told me a Picture Style "editor" function was certainly possible, and I expected a hacker to deliver one in short time. That didn't happen, but Canon did release their own editor.

Anyone who shoots JPEG is missing a bet if he doesn't use it. In fact, given that DPP doesn't do "droplets," it would be a good idea even for RAW users to try it out.
