Don't know about free. WHen I first signed up to the internet many years ago, my ISP gave acess to web space that could be used for such a purpose. The only problem was the adverts that appeared on each page. Not sure if the same situation exists now, as after a little while I purchased my own domain space and use that for hosting all my pictures.

You may want to look at your own ISP agreement to see if that provides you with free web space that you can utilise.

1and1.com hosting for ~$10/month. Install (free!) Gallery2. Voila! Website with insane amount of storage (250GB), unlimited bandwidth, and FULL control over your domain/webspace.

Or look into Flickr/Zenfolio/Smugmug for free/lower cost options. But I like the 1and1 solution.

...with links to an enlarged image?

How large, & do you really want to allow downloading a full sized image?
Free JAlbum.net (external link) - Will build excellent galleries & now has free hosting, too.

Example skins - JAlbum skins seem easy to modify & there's a lot of help in their forums. Some subforums are dedicated to only one skin, which makes it easier to get info.

If you just want a site to upload some photos to for sharing try ImageEvent (external link) . It's not free, but pretty close at $25 a year.

Impossible to put something online while it's impossible to save it.
You can disable right-click, but someone can always do a screen capture...

I'd think "Let Me Know": He's offering to host your site ;)
