If is were me, I'd crop out the lookie-loos on the edges, they are distracting. Chas Gordon

If you've got the flash on a remote setup and it's too bright, move it further away, or turn it down if it's adjustable. If it's on the camera and not adjustable play around with the exposure to see if something looks good. Have a rider just sit still in the place you want to photograph them while you work out the settings, rather than tiring them out while you're experimenting.
