Just out of curiousity, does the Vagabond II system work with Elinchrom lights? I know the Vagabond is just a battery source that I'd need to plug in a power strip to but didn't know if anybody has had problems doing that or not.

Thanks!

Yep, sure is. Assuming you mean their monoblocs.

Freelites and Ranger line is meant for Ranger Battery Packs. Or Quadras.

Yes and no there are issues running multi-voltage strobes like the BXri and I believe the D-lites mostly when running 2 lights off the one pack, the Innovatronix explorer SE is designed for the multivoltage strobes and would be your best bet there is a thread on here about it https://photography-on-the.net …968&highlight=explorer+se

I believe, from looking on Elinchrom's site, that the RX600 do not switch power. You have to choose which one you want when purchasing, so in theory, they should be ok to use with a vagabond.

I'd still go with a standard tronix unit though, sturdier with a metal enclosure.

My village called. I was told that they missed me.

Speedotron users, untie!

If you look at the video, i use both the explorer and the vagabond, powering two RX600's
