Managed to get a few shots of the second test Boeing 787 to fly... Thankfully it wasn't raining, but it sure was a typical cloudy Seattle morning.. Hope to get a few more of the first 787 flying soon as flight tests begin..

the engines' rear edge look very interesting to me, with those half circle cutouts. are those Rolls Royce powerplants?

I believe it has GE's on it. Least that's the test bed airplane I've seen at Boeing field lately with one of the 787 engines mounted on it..

There are two options for the engines the G E (GEnx with 85000 lbs of power) and Rolls Royce (Trent 1000) in fact the airplane used in the first flight was powerd with RR
