I like the ideas, next time try getting in front of the player with the first one, and the second one zoom in more and get the guy sliding with that bunker with him try laying down.

One of my favorite fields to photograph, I will be there again for the 24 hour scenario game the end of January covering the event Jungle Magazine. :)

thx man, the one where the guy is sliding into the bunker, i only had a 18-55mm at that time, a week later i think is when my 75-300mm came in from canon.

@Gary i had a feeling u was going to come too. xD i know my friend Nik (PTH) is going to be there too. jw how did u get the job for Jungle Magazine?

And another thing I learned was I used to play PSP and local tourny try and follow a ref that is watching the boundaries or try laying down in front of the starting gate to get starting pictures and Use a lens hood! and a uv filter! they will save your lens!

how did u get the job for Jungle Magazine

I can not tell you how many times I have been asked this question, I think I am the only one left who actually makes money working for the magazines in this sport.

The answer to your question of how one starts to work for magazines is unknown to me, it just sort of happened. It probably has to do with my involvement in the sport for 25 years, traveling all over the world for the past 10 years photographing the sport in every possible venue and my involvement with the national paintball leagues in North America.
Since I was the first photographer to shoot scenario events it sort of led to me being hired to shoot major tournaments in the US and this led to opportunities to shoot events in Europe and Asia.

I have worked for every major magazine in paintball and they always found me. I have never had to look for assignments, if fact I turn down many that I simply do not have time for. I guess this is what happens when photograph something for so long, also it helps that I know where the secret focus button is on Canon bodies.

Gary; you've GOT to tell Troy and I about these so we can go play in Hawaii instead of just Socal and TAAG!

Looks like a lot of fun.
