I recently purchased PSE8. Installed it just yesterday. I have a project that I would like to do by Christmas day, but don't have the time to figure it out on my own, as I have never used any version of PSE. I was wondering if someone could let me know the steps to do this 1 thing. I have a picture of my son with a disrtacting background and want to change the background to a solid color. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depends very much on the image... Why not post a low res version?
If you edit your profile to "Image editing okay" you'll probably get more help.

Ok. Thanks. Don't have the file with me right now. I will post it this evening from home.

This is for PSE 7 but it should work similarly in PSE 8 I would think.
