I'm going to PhotoPlus Tomorrow, and maybe Saturday...
Hit me up on my cell!

I signed up last week, but CPS gave me a code, and PDN also gave me a code that would work for others to get in for free... Not sure if it'll work if you want em, but PM me and I can send it to you.

If the light went out then its just a temp code. I suspect the hard hit could of set it off. Check oil level as these places that change oil sometimes forgest to put the cap back on or not fill it up all the way. Look to see if they closed the aif filter box as they may have checked it but did not close it back. Look for any loose hoses also.

Your knock sensor could of just went off because of the bump.

Do any of you guys know anything about cars?

I have an old 01 Cavalier z24 that, I guess despite being a Chevy Cavalier has never had a problem or needed a repair.

Just got my oil changed and new tires put on 2 days ago.

Last night I hit a bump a little too hard and my check engine light immediately came on. The car doesn't sound, feel or drive any different.

I'm driving out to Pennsylvania in a few hours. It should be fine, right?

I'm hoping maybe it's just an emissions thing or something. I had filled up my tank a few hours before the light came on. I'm pretty sure the gas cap is on fine though.

Note to self. Get yourself insured before hitching another ride with Tommy boy.;)

My father took his truck to a quick lube place a few years ago and got the rear differential fluid changed. They did not put the plug back in on and its located on the top of the unit. So it took a few days to empty out and destroy the rear end. Good times. I still go to them places but double check the work.

You should ask MDJAK. He knows plenty about "lubing" things up.

btw: I happen to have two answers for SHOMAT.

1. Check engine light is nothing to worry about. Usually a small leak in exhaust, etc. Only problem is will fail inspection. And if you get it reset, you have to drive about 100 miles or so before going for inspection, if it doesn't come back on.

2: THE SERIOUS ANSWER: Finally, someone as cheap if not cheaper than nicky. How old is that piece of sh*t you're driving? Do you value your and your girlfriend's life? How about a new ride, with airbags, brakes, a steering wheel and windscreen so you don't have to pick bugs out of your toofuses?

So, me, Nick, and Omar went to the photoplus convention today. Anyone paying $50 to get in has to be stupid. :) Is OK.

Here is Nick thinking about switching back to Canon:

Omar is going to ask his girlfriend buying a 800L for him:

Afterward, we spent couple of hours in Central Park looking for signs of Fall. Kind of hard for some reasons. Kids were everywhere in the park I guess because of the pre-Halloween festivities there.
