So they consider it "commercial" if the photog is getting paid?
I guess I'll give it a go and see what happens :D
On a side note, I sent the national gateway an email (floydd bennett specific), you can shoot there so long as its not for "commercial" use hehe. I don't know why I named them a state park, but they were kind enough to correct me at the end. I asked about using strobes (a strobe), they said should be ok, and that if anyone asks, show them the email.

I am shooting this Sat race at the Floyd Bennett Field starting at 930am. http://www.bikereg.com …egister.asp?eventid=12666 (external link)

If you want to come, let me know. I can pick you up at the Ave U Q train station if you are coming from Manhattan. You can't really get there without a car or a bike...

Yeah dude i have been doing some hard research on all of this. That ST-E2 i posted up there can be used with radio poppers. You just attach the popper transmitter right on top of that ST-E2 and then attach the receiver to your flash and your good to go. Access to all menus right from your camera to all flash options. You could also just have the transmitter right on your flash if you have it on camera as well. Ill be making the investment in a month or so into the Radio poppers.

Omar, MasterFlash. ;)

Sure Nick said he would take everyone along who wants to go. You can PM him :D

Mark said he would pay for everyone to have some great roast beef sandwiches. All you can eat too! What a great guy!

Shomat wont show up because he has a flat tire. But if he does hitch a ride on a bike he is someone you want to listen to. :D

As for me? I dont even shoot any pictures. I just use my iphone 4 :p

Typical New Yorker. The man offers you a shooting option and you complain of a better option :p ;)
