What do you guys think about a studio day? I've been pitching the idea to the owner of my studio space for a few days and he's down. Here are some pics:

The studio has 20x hot lights ranging from 250k-15,000k. The green screen is 50'x17' with the curve in from the left at 35'. It's normally $125/hr for individuals, but we may be able to get a group rate.

Hmmm....models? Do we get models to shoot with?? I am clueless with studio shoot except using a single strobe.... Maybe there should be a theme involved? It seems pointless to shoot models, if we do get one, for no reason.

That would be up to you. I personally like to shoot ducks:

You'd be welcome to just come and hang out, but honestly it's a good way to learn light. The strobists guys typically rent studios for light seminars or whatever. Manish and I are probably going to get some studio time in May, with models :p

Just putting it out there for any of you guys that may want/need a studio to work in. ;)

Whats up guys, I'm new on here and pretty new to photography but there seems to be so many of you in NYC I just might have to take the "hands on" approach to learning this faster haha. I'm currently taking a photog class, but will be checking in here to see if anythings going on! Would love to at least see the "pros" shoot. Oh yea, I'm almost 22 and my name is Igor :)
