Dude...cs5 was released almost a week ago, and yea I only did one pass :p Hence quick and dirty.

Vic I'll work on that when I get home :)

it was released almost a week ago, but it's not yet available. newegg says it's availble for ship on 5/3 and adobe's store says:

Preorder now. English language version expected to ship by mid-May 2010. See language version availability below.

even the download version is not available, so spill the beans.

You know....if I did want to keep this a secret, you'd have totally just blown up my spot.

WIP..2 mins worth of spot healing, it can be cleaned up further. I notice it has issues with like color textures. Check the wing toward the branch.

Nice try but you literally erased half of the feather wing pattern... The post processing is tough because you have to reproduce details that weren't there because the branch was in the way.

Tough crowd! Like I said it has trouble with the patterns. The body and branch were cake though.

A lot of times the color and feather patterns on the wings can separate between from one type of bird to another. If you don't clone it right, the bird becomes a different bird instead.

I get that, it still only took me under 2 mins to clone out that branch. A better PS guru could have knocked that out.

Mike you did a lot better than me. I took a stab at the picture and i agree the algorithm has a tough time with like patterns. But we cant expect perfection either. The branch almost blends into the bird in the original shot so it makes it extra difficult.
