Hey O, if you aren't busy Sunday we should do a 5dII vs. 7d shoot out in Central Park with the bricks. If it doesn't rain of course.

Hope you all have a good day today. I went to the bike race this morning and I really need a nap right now...:)

Couple of shots I tried using my Carl Zeiss 21mm. I can't really track the riders and these guys were coming down from hill at 30mph going through that sweeping left turn. The riders closer to me have more blur than the riders towards the back due to the relative speed and the distance to me. Shutter speed was at 1/500s. Should have used higher maybe...

This was when they were going up the hill in pack.

I like the "earlymorning" shot from your flicker page. The weather looked a lot better than the last race lol.

Thanks. There were too many sunny patchy spots and made exposure a bit challenging. There were certain angles I want to shoot but the sun wasn't in the right position.

I watched the photoshop one and I still can't believe the content aware filter... I have to be the one wielding it's power to believe it...

The power of the D700 is seducing me. I got to shoot one for half a day on Saturday. I.....kinda want one.

Look into what lenses you want with it, Nikon glass is pricey.
