are you talking about Simon Cudby? All the same, You can get clean files on a 7d up to 3200 If I have too, but if you even handhold a speedlite you can get your shutter speeds past 250 and get a great images. At the same time you can make the noisiest file in the world at 1000 if you shoot to dark.

I've found from lots of testing you need to shoot RAW, put your picture style on faithful and make sure your getting a proper exposure, at 3200 lightroom can easily handle the noise and not lose any sharpness.

This photo I shot at 4000iso at 2.8.. it was the worst lit arena I've ever been in

That does look good, but I am not talking about web sized pics,,I can swing those all day no problem. How does that shot look at full res? That is where I need to my shots to be perfect. And I am talking also with no flash, With a flash it's no problem. Some things just can't be hidden ya know? And no, it's not Simon, but yes is he one of the best!

I won't be doing St. Louis or Indy, I don't think I will at least? I might do Daytona and that will probably be it for East Coast. Who will you be shooting for?

Thanks! Oh bummer, K&N probably won't be able to get you on the track. Are you sure you are shooting dirt bikes for them? I didn't realize they had more than one photographer, which has been me for the past two years, hahah! Well get some good stuff and save me the work!
