haha you must be who John was talking about that covers the west coast. But yeah he sent me over his sponsor list and I confirmed with Denny that I had media.. I hope I dont get screwed when I get there

You are stoked then! Denny forgets about half the names on the list. but they will just text him and you will get your vest. I have a hard card for the season and my name has been off the list twice already!:p

Thats good to know :P I need to book a hotel and stuff and I really dont want to waste gas money and everything else to show up and get turned away.

Right now Nikon owns low light. the D3s has noise free files at 10,000iso and the 1Dmk4 doesnt compete with it. Now the 1dx is supposed to compete, but at almost 7g's uggg

BrownDogWilson If you get that D3, you're photo's will be at a completely different level. It will be a huge upgrade in so many areas, pro body through and through, excellent af system, buffer, dual card slots (great at your level) much better color rendition than a crop sensor camera, DOF that will make images just pop, clean iso to 3200, and 6400 with care. I'm a big fan of your work btw :)

BDW if you switch to nikon I will start an AnTi-BDW Facebook page. J/K
I am stoked either way you go. The upgrade will definitely show your true potential and broaden your abilities.

If bawls means money, you may be right. It would almost be like cheating though! But let's look at my life right now. One kid going to college next year, a two and four year old daughter, (you know that's gonna cost me) a broken truck, and all sorts of other crap. It will be a long while before I get out of the ghetto and have real gear I think. I always have to pick all the expensive hobbies dammit! Maybe I'll take up frisbee golf, there is a course right across the street from my house and they have big money tournaments right?:p

I've heard about that as well, I wonder how it will handle high iso

I'm just busting ya, Chris and I'm right there with ya. One kid in college and one more in about a year and a half. But with any luck, sdsu will continue to scout him and provide a full ride. That would be sweet.

I've shot with a D3 that a director I was working with had. That is one sweet camera but totally ass backwards from canon. I mean c'mon! Who make it so the lenses mount with lefty tighty and righty loosy? That's dangerous for the lenses.
