One of my favorite shots Jefro. Can you tell us what gear you used for this shot?

Thanks mate.
I made that pic with my old Canon 30D and the 70-200 f2.8 L.

That is a sweet corner, almost every shot is a keeper there.

Same turn, different riders:

April 8th I'll be there again for the Dutch GP. :D

I like 'm.
I replied to 'm as well a few posts back:

Pretty good shot Mataz. Nice clean shots.
You could also try to go a bit higher on the shutter speed so you get some more detail in your roost.
Try 1/800 and work from there.

I'm sorry, dummy me :)
I got a little carried away with panning almost all my shots last year, and plan on mixing it up with higher shutter speeds like you suggested. Do you guys ride also? Do most of you guys have access to the whole track that you take photo's at?

I dont ride myself, just love shooting it and being around the action. All the local outdoor tracks I go to let me go anywhere I want, out in the middle of track ect. Bigger outdoor tracks have more limited areas. When you do indoor stuff it just depends on the arena and how big it is where they let you go.

Jefro98, kris142, Gomboman, newworld666, shiftonephoto, awesome photo's guys :)
shiftonephoto, yeah it's really nice to have that kind of access (anywhere) on the track. There are a couple of tracks that I have to stay behind the fence, and they let one guy inside that sells pictures (event photography style) I see most of you guys are using crop camera's (just an observation) do you guys shoot in raw mostly?

Yeah I only shoot in raw no matter what Im doing. I never motor drive unless I see someone crashing lol, sometimes I'll burst 2, but I really try to catch people at the peak of the turn, or the best pose over the jump instead of spraying and praying.

Its nice being able to have the full track because then you have a bit of an advantage of getting different angles than the parents. However from my experience its way to much work for what you make trying to sell prints at a race, but thats just in my area.

marcust, feel free to post some shots.
shiftonephoto, the guys that sell I believe do pretty good sales through out the year. Yeah I just bought a camera that has a big enough buffer (compared to my old one) and I'm getting alot more comfortable in lightroom so no more jpg for me. Jeff Kardas is my favorite, and I hope to be that good someday.

Yes, my first AX as it was practically in my backyard. Hope they come back next year. I have been looking at your AX photographs over the past month and you "kill" it...Nice stuff
