Those shots look great! I used to use a 100-400 and it is one of my favorites. I don't know why but it produced some of the best colors for me. And Mataz, yes that that 5D does rock! Inside the Staples Center I left my ISO around 5000 for the most part, and I was very happy to have the 400 with me too. That shot of Hansen for example was shot from all the way across the other side of the arena. They wouldn't let us sit anywhere else.The section where they would be coming right at us was empty the whole weekend, but they wouldn't let us near it. I was able to sneak a few from the tunnel going in, but even then they would catch me and kick me back to the "official" spot. I don't know how they can get their entire staff to be so hardcore about their jobs.
I could tell this was the 400 by how sharp, and how well it isolated the riders. Yeah ISO 5000 looks amazing, and the first shot of Hanson really did him justice. My buddy just bought a 300 2.8, the primes are just in a league all there own. You should be all set for the 2014 supercross series with the MKIII
