Motocross photographers unite!

i was wondering why they were off color , now that i think of it , i was shooting indoors last time i used camera , thanks , for this , (slaps self ) check white balance ,

You can salvage them easily. I've done that more times than I care to remember.

These were from the AMA Red Bull Nationals at Lake Elsinore, CA.

5D3, 300mm, f/2.8, 1/2000sec, ISO 100

Shot the local desert race here this last weekend. First time I've had the 5dmk3 out during a day race so it was nice to see what I can pull as far as quality. It's pretty much amazing. Here's one that really stood out to me.

Has to be one of my highlights of the year shooting and meeting this man - Such a great style and really freindly bloke too - He bought a few photo's from me and took home prints that he proudly told me he would hang in his trophy room - And they say never meet your hero's aye! Top fella!

Great photo's. It's pretty ironic that they use to ride four strokes, then we went to two, and back to four. These guys are iron men of the sport.

Great fotos of the golden oldies of motocross or scrambles as we used to call it back then.

In the 1960's I was a devout fan of the CZ's....both 250 and 360/380 cc scramblers.

In my shed I have a '67 Matchless 750cc G15 CS Scrambler. In the states they called them desert sleds and they were used for desert racing.
