Good glass is extremely important because the sensor pixel density is so high. Overall it performs well and I'm hoping the new firmware that came out this week will make it even better.

The text from my post is missing. It was suppose to say "when the 7D2 is just a bit off" Thought this is a combination of body/lens, I must say it definitely doesn't insight confidence. However, the new firmware seems to be a vast improvement. More to come at a later date.
