Yep, i want the Canon 7DmkII or the new nikon D500 ..
never had a Nikon, so the D7100 is to see if its something for me... ?
But i like the Nikon D3s and canon 1DmkIIII to

So far, i really like the Nikon.
The AF is faster then what i expected.
Buffer of 6 pictures is real small, but i have a fast card, maby a litle more then a second and the full buffer is cleared :p
Sadly the cross track is closed, it will be opened again, but when?
So i have done some Kart and dog shots.

I wanted to say that many of your images are like Motocross art. I'm sure the riders really dig them.

Got a question, I've been trying to get credentials for supercross but haven't had much luck (90% of the magazines I call have staffers). Any ideas how I can go at this differently? Next race that's closest to me is Santa Clara Levi's Stadium.

Sadly we don't get too much of this type of racing going on in my area.
But the shots I have seen so far it makes me wish I could get back on my bike and get out and do the same.
But age is now making joints to sore to do it any more.
But I enjyed looking through this thread and well done to you all who have posted.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.

Probably not going to happen unless you get connected with a team or media.

If you were out east it wouldn't be so bad, but everyone and their brother wants credentials out west because of all the companies based there. Ask BDW, he fought the fight for a long time before getting regular credentials.

Eric, the first question they will ask is who you are shooting for and where is the work going to end up? Right now there are several guys that don't belong down there yet somehow have pulled it off. I can tell you the only possible way of getting on the floor is to do something for a local paper or anything not moto related They have more then enough moto coverage but are always looking for mainstream If you really want to shoot SX, just buy a ticket and shoot away from the stands. Everybody is under the impression you have to be on the dirt to get good shots. We are usually limited to the outside of the track and maybe a spot in the middle that is usually not very good. I spend at least half of every race shooting in the stands and I don't have to. If they hassle you about your gear, give me a call, Ill walk it in for you. And not to be negative, unless you have a solid outlet that can try and get you a credential, don't even bother trying on your own, it will never happen. He tells me he gets hundreds of requests from every guy that has a moto website and he is just irritated by them.

Most teams have an independent guy such as myself shooting for them. I only know of one team that was able to get a credential for their own guy (BTO) Right now I shoot for six of the teams and all I can say is I Am starting to get dizzy down there trying to keep up with all my riders!

Eric, I was just curious what you do for the Monster Truck deal? I shot it for FELD once, and they own the rights to everything which is why there are never any photographers working unless it is for them. Did you work for FELD too?

And if anybody is interested, before my buddy at the local shop sells it, I am selling my 1D MarkIV for $2000.00. The last time I checked it had under 40000 clicks on it. There is nothing wrong with it and it looks brand new. It has always been cleaned and serviced by Canon. I am just upgrading because I can at the moment. It is a great camera for sure!

You can't go wrong buying a bike from Blue! How many rides did it have on it? About 3 or 4? Most of that time would have been spent shooting the **** about when he was really fast! HAHA!
