What type of shooting are you into? Let that guide your purchasing action.

I'm mostly into landscapes but I'm thinking of maybe trying my hand at some portraits using off camera flash, so a wireless trigger would be handy. Basically, I have a few ideas about what to spend it on but I'd like to know what everyone else would purchase as a freebie for that kind of amount?

Place it towards a future purchase. I know it's not much help.

Basic body, 50 f1.8, 85 f1.8, 70-200 f2.8 L, 430EX. A 50D or it's replacement in the new year and a revived trigger finger.......would like to also add 135mm f2 near future (maybe)

Well, I went ahead and got myself a cheap wireless flash trigger. I know they can be unreliable and there are better, more expensive types available but it'll do for now so I can have a go at some portraits with it.
