If I was still souping my own black and white negatives I probably wouldn't mind, but finding a place around here that processes 120 color for less-than-expensive is exceedingly difficult. Where do you live? Processing is pretty cheap. My C-41 and E-6 are about $5 a roll. "Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Funny but I thought the same thing! I didn't want one that needed batteries and had an onboard flash but I'm totally going to experiment with the hotshoe and OCF; probably just a hotshoe to sync cord adapter for now. ••Vancouver Wedding Photographer

I guess the plastic surgery didn't work out? The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.

Sam Goldmember More info | Congratulations! I love my holga. Not everyone gets it though so I wouldn't bother trying to explain. Slide right up next to someone with expensive gear in a typical photo op spot, take out your holga and watch them scratch their heads

I still have a Holga that I don't use because the the shutter doesn't work properly (lost the spring that returns the shutter disc in the closed position). Gear List

I'm probably over thinking it but I go by sunny 16 and I want to have an idea what the two settings are on the aperture dial -- cloudy and sunny. Anyone know? It is a new model 120N. ••Vancouver Wedding Photographer

Put in my first roll which I have yet to use up. All I can say at this point is how wierd it feels to have virtually no control over camera settings and that I need to remind myself to take off the lens cap Cameras: Canon 5D Mark III, 7D Mark II, Flashes: Canon 420EX, 580EX1

Every camera is a little different and you won't know how "special" yours is until you run a couple rolls through it.Ah good point! I'm sure each one has its own actual EV between the mechanical spring shutter and questionable build of the plastic lens iwannabe wrote in post #9276271 No suggestion here but I had to share that I got the Holga 135 for Christmas. Get it started and I'll work on some pictures this week.

You're probably better off using the new Ektar 100 in 120 size instead of the Porta line. Ektar is newer with next to zero grain and does well with exposure latitude/dynamic range.
