Places for photography in CT?

Hello all,

I am on vacation in CT (the Hamden area) and am curious if anybody
has any suggestions on where I can head out to for scenic photography?
Also what about people photography?

Any tips would be nice! (please keep in mind not used to driving in snow/ice so I want to try and avoid traveling 45min or further)

Note: You can edit my photo just tell me how you did it ;)

If you are into architecture, you can always wander around Yale. There is some extremely cool stuff if that is your thing.

I've heard Wadsworth Falls has some really cool landscape possibilities, but I haven't been there myself.
