I was in the store the other day and saw the Lowepro Compudaypack. I thought my prayers were answered. I am looking for a back pack (non sling style) that has a completely seperate compartment that can fit some bottled water, a spare shirt, sunscreen and other things for my dayhikes. I usually only carry one lens, but like to have my 580EX with me at all times (no built in flash on the 5D)

I brought my stuff back to the store and was pretty disappointed to barely be able to squeeze my gripped 5D into the lower compartment. I am sure taking the grip off would solve this problem, but I like having it attached.

Any suggestions on a similar type and size of backpack? My two requirements is it that has a medium sized seperate compartment and isn't super big. I don't want to look like I am about to scale Everest/ :)
