haven't had too many shoots recently.. kinda of bored..and wanted to do a snow shoot.

Tori is my senior rep.. and we brought a long her current B.F.

here are some photos i liked from the shoot..

no lighting at all.. just natural ambient... (which is prefect.. the cloudy conditions and the snow covered ground just takes all shadows away from the face.)

just set it to manual
iso 50
F2.5-2.8
SS 1/320ish..

Pham,
Great work as always. Looks like a lot of fun. Maybe if it will snow more than a flurry here, I can get out and do some snow shooting. My only real critique, and it may be nit picky, would be to clone out the snow flakes from in front of the faces. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing.

Phamster, these are really nice and seem better than when you use ABs.

funny. i don't like shooting in ambient, but that day was perfect lighting, so running and gunning was every easy.. just point and shoot, and not worry about the lighting.. having that snow covered ground just takes all shadows away..

for portraits i would rather use lighting.. example

I think thats modest. You are one of my absolute favorite photographers on here. I LOVE your work. But I think like most things in life, you can always learn more and how to do something a little bit better no matter how much you know. But Id seriously take lessons from some one like you on technique and ability :)
